Bio: Pamila Dembla is currently an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) Department at Kennesaw State University. Prior to this; she has been Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire, Durham.
She received her PhD in Management Information Systems from University of Memphis, Tennessee in 2003 after receiving her MBA and BE (Electrical) degree, both from University of Mumbai, India. She has a number of years experience in designing and manufacturing high voltage cables.
She has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate IS courses such as Systems Analysis and Design, Human Computer Interface Design, Project Management, and Database design. Her research interests include innovation adoption, electronic commerce, and global information technology management. She is particularly interested in community work focusing on encouraging and enabling students with disabilities to choose careers in computing. She is actively involved in curriculum development at KSU as a member of the department, college and graduate program curriculum committees.
She has published book chapters and in journals in addition to presenting at many national and international conferences. She is a member of Association of Information Systems, and Global Information Technology Management Association.
