I-Tern Program

The I-Tern Program is an invitation-only program currently being piloted with previous program participants who have demonstrated leadership, maturity, and an interest in increasing their knowledge of computing. It is an unpaid opportunity where students can receive high school credit for their involvement.

Previous I-Terns
  • demonstrated knowledge of programming or willingness to learn programming
  • were interested and capable of teaching themselves
  • desired to mentor others
  • were willing to learn new technologies and teach others
  • showed initiative in leading projects and completing project assignments
  • were excellent problem solvers
  • were coachable
  • were dependable
  • produced high quality work in a timely fashion
  • demonstrated honesty and integrity
