Printer Scripts for Mac OS X PDF Services
Here you'll find some printer scripts for some common printers in use in the CoC. If you need to use a printer for which I haven't provided a script here, see here for instructions on how to make your own. Alternatively, you can download all these scripts in one archive. (see here for CNS' printers page).
If your CoC username differs from your Mac username, you'll need to edit these printer scripts. Just change the following line:
REMOTEHOST="helsinki.cc.gatech.edu"
to
REMOTEHOST="username@helsinki.cc.gatech.edu"
where username is your CoC account username.
Define your own printer
To create your own Print to <printer> script, just download one of these scripts, above and open it with your favorite text editor (TextEdit will do fine). Find the third line, which starts with PRINTER=. Just change the value inside the quotation marks to the unix printer name for the printer you want to use. Now save the file with an appropriate name to the PDF Services folder. Don't forget to make sure that the file is executable.
