Chinese Broccoli with Wine Sauce
- 3 T oil
- 2 t minced ginger
- 2 t minced garlic
- 1 lb chinese broccoli, cut into 1 1/2 in pieces
Sauce
- 2 T brown sugar
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1/4 C dry sherry or sake
- 1 T cornstarch with water
Blanch broccoli.
Heat wok and add oil. When hot, add ginger and garlic, stirring for a few seconds. Add broccoli. Stir in sauce and mix well. Cover for half a minute, add cornstarch, and let thicken. Serve.
