Sept 1997 - present	Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA Advisor: Dr. Gregory Abowd Investigating ubiquitous capture and access of meetings, in collaboration with IBM, Boeing, and Smart Information Flow Technologies.
May 2000 – August 2001	IBM T.J. Watson Research Laboratories, Hawthorne, NY. Technical intern for the virtual meetings group. Manager: Shahrokh Daijavad. Designed, implemented, and evaluated meeting capture and access software as part of the TeamSpace project.
Summer 1997, 1998	Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Palo Alto, CA. Technical intern in the Software Technology Lab. Manager: Martin Griss. Developed visual tools for software designers to construct an architecture using a domain-specific architectural framework and for architects to construct domain-specific frameworks from a general architectural framework.
Aug 1996 - May 1997	Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA Advisor: Dr. David Garlan Investigated visualizations in software architecture.
May 1995 - Aug 1996	Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI Advisor: Dr. Betty H.C. Cheng Investigated the formalization of the Object Modeling Technique (OMT), a software design methodology.

Summer 2004	Georgia Institute of Technology, Instructor Instructor for CS 4750, User Interface Design, an introductory course to HCI.
Fall 2001, Summer 2003, Spring 2005	Georgia Institute of Technology, Teaching Assistant Prepared several lectures, and assisted teams of students in designing and evaluating a novel interface for an undergraduate Human-Computer Interaction course.
