From all the entrants, judges will pick 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners (and honorable mentions if they would like). Prizes to be determined. :)

Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. However, some people like to choose their own pumpkins so you are welcome to bring your own.

Rules:

0. Basically, there are no rules besides #1. Just be creative and present something that has to do with pumpkins
1. Pumpkins must be carved/created onsite at the grad tea, within the first 1.5 hours of the tea. Judging will take place immediately afterwards with winners announced at the end of the tea. However you can do as much planning beforehand as you want NOTE: we will now allow a special category of pre-carved pumpkins to be entered in the contest and they will be judged separately!
2. As many people as you want can be on your pumpkin carving team (usually smaller groups work best, but bigger efforts can be fun too). Carvers can be students, faculty, or staff and may include outside friends as well
3. You can use as many pumpkins as you want. However, if you use more than one, they will all be judged together as one entity, so they should have some sort of a theme (Note: we will only provide you with one. pumpkins beyond that are up to you)
4. You can use stuff other than pumpkins
5. You don't even have to use real pumpkins (perhaps you'd like to make a virtually carved pumpkin?)
6. We'll have some carving supplies available on site, but if you want to bring your own so you don't have to share, that's also okay
7. Bonus points for teams dressed in costume!

Reserve Pumpkins

We'll have pumpkins on site for unplanned carvers but those will be first come, first served. If you want to be guarenteed a pumpkin, enter your name below:
